A few times a year our church provides and serves a hot meal for the bi-weekly “Community Table” held at the local Fire hall. This event is organized by Hopewell Love Inc. and the meals are always followed by a local food bank distribution.

Different churches and organizations take turns serving. Last week we had the privilege of serving. Many different people in our church volunteer to contribute parts of the meal, so that we can provide a delicious dinner with drinks, meat, sides, salad, and a variety of desserts. Many people enjoy serving at this event because it gives them an opportunity to treat all those attending as honored guests. It’s also an excellent time to sit and talk with someone new, listen to their story, and show them God’s love by just being there, and sharing a meal with them. We are so grateful for all those who came out to serve! We really had a great time.
